The scope and nature of our business is the transportation of foodstuff commodities, temperature controlled and dry, to all 48 states. However, our primary service is to the states east of the Mississippi and north of the Mason-Dixon. Our fleet is comprised of all refrigerated trailers.

ASSET BASED 3PL SERVICES

In early 1987 our largest customer, Campbell Soup, insisted that we obtain our Brokerage Authority so that we could provide them more capacity than we could with our own equipment. Nagle Companies now provides 3PL services to many of our customers.

LOCAL CARTAGE

In today’s competitive environment, trucking companies cannot afford to layover drivers and equipment because of delivery problems. As such, we provide a tremendous value to them whereby we either transfer their freight onto our own equipment for a future delivery or use their own trailers if they have spare trailers in the region. We maintain many trailer interchange agreements to facilitate the latter.

MAINTENANCE

Our team of mechanics and office personnel strives to provide the highest quality repairs and service in northwest Ohio and southeast Michigan. Nagle Service department has built its reputation, by having a “Drop Everything” attitude. This allows us to get our company trucks and trailers and our customers equipment in and out and back on the road where they belong. We treat our customer as though it’s our own fleet.

WAREHOUSE / CROSS DOCK

We maintain a temperature controlled warehouse of 55-75 degrees year round. With stringent legal enforcement on axle weights, many carriers, after scaling their loads, have brought them to our facility to readjust the product so that it meets axle weight limits and bridge law requirements. There is a CAT scale approximately 3 miles from our terminal so they can verify everything falls under regulatory compliance.
